Which Jeep Gladiator Will Quench Your Need for Adventure?

The 2021 Jeep Gladiator comes in a wide variety of trim levels, with one that’s sure to call to you. So, which will you choose? Here are some of the features included in each to help decide.

Sport 4x4

The standard Gladiator trim starting at just $33,545 MSRP comes with Selec-Trac, in the vein of Jeep’s classic Command Trac, a two-speed transfer case, and 2.7:1 low-range gear ratio for more off-road capability.

The Sport and Sport S boast the greatest towing capacity of any Jeep Gladiator trim at 7,650 lbs with an available Max Tow package. The Sport trim also comes with a suite of features standard on all new Jeep Gladiators such as OffRoad+, which gives push-button access to adjustable settings for everything from throttle to traction control.

Sport S 4x4

Both the Sport and Sport S 4x4 offer a 5-inch touchscreen display and an 8-speaker surround system. However, where the Sport S differs is in a leather-wrapped steering wheel, power windows, and security alarm. Both Gladiator Sport models now offer available fog lamps and LED headlights as well.

Willys 4x4

The standard Willys model, based on the Sport S, offers 17-inch wheels, mud-terrain tires, rock rails, and a limited-slip rear differential for off-road performance. Also included is the 2021 Jeep Gladiator’s Technology and Convenience package. Included in the package are a 7.0-inch infotainment touchscreen display, Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ compatibility, and a universal garage door opener.

Willys Sport 4x4

The Willys Sport edition offers similar features to the Willy edition while dropping some of the standard tech and convenience features to offer a more affordable package at just $36,985 MSRP, compared to the full Willys 4x4 edition at $40,735 MSRP.

Overland 4x4

The Overland has more standard equipment than the Sport or Willys while also coming with more available options. Available TrailCam offers a forward-facing off-road camera to offer support for climbing steep hills and descents. It also comes with Selec-Trac two-speed transfer case and 2.7:1 low-range gear ratio for further added stability.

Rubicon 4x4

The Gladiator Rubicon is best for traversing difficult terrain such as mud, rocks, and snow. Front and rear lockers make traversing rocky hillsides easier. The Rock-Trac® transfer case with 4:1 low range offers 84:1 crawl ratio, adding huge torque to the Rubicon that allows it to traverse steep inclines and travel over rough obstacles easily.

Mojave 4x4

The Mojave is made for dune racing. The Mojave is the first Jeep to ever obtain the Jeep Desert Rated badge for its high desert-trail performance. Standard FOX 2.5-inch internal bypass shocks and rear locker help the Mojave traverse what would otherwise be impossible terrain for the average vehicle.

80th Anniversary

The 80th Anniversary model is part of a larger lineup of Jeep models celebrating the 80th anniversary of the original Willys MB Jeep launched during World War II. What makes it unique are its 18-inch wheels and all-terrain tires, 8.4-inch infotainment system, and some limited-edition accents such as body-color fender flares, Berber floor mats, and 80th Anniversary badge.

High Altitude 4x4

Finally, the High Altitude model is for those who want a high-end luxury version of the Jeep Gladiator. It includes 20-inch wheels, Nappa leather cabin, LED exterior lighting, and virtually all tech and convenience features in the Jeep Gladiator series from an 8.0-inch infotainment system to auto high beams.
